Want libertarian ancaps to be billionaires? A Bitcoin ban does that.
It wasn't just moveable type that lead to liberty and human rights. It was also gunpower. So that once the 10,000 peasants are summoned, they can use muskets to defeat the well-trained knights in expansive armor.
Have you read this piece, written by Jeff Snider? It's quite complementary to your own, and provides more evidence for why deflation in USD could point to even more BTC adoption.
Great reflection. Congratulations on publishing it. If I may, I would like to add the fact that in case governments ban bitcoin, some individuals might start mining it, which could theoretically cause a significant impact on energy consumption. Mining farms would have to be protected by militias, and tensions would escalate. Anyways, the outcome would be the same: bitcoin would continue to appreciate in value and gain mass adoption in a few years.
