That which cannot go on forever will not. And that is what we are facing. Irrespective of political affiliation the people in charge are being and have been incredibly irresponsible with money.
It is already unraveling: silver and platinum went up almost 10% just today after going up over 5% just before Christmas, and have doubled in the last 3 months. Meanwhile, gold keeps going up roughly 1% daily, also in pace to double (again) in 3 months or so. Hyperinflation, here we come...
