[Special Note to Monthly Newsletter Subscribers: I was caught off guard by the sharp tech correction following the election. I incorrectly assumed markets priced it in since prediction markets forecast a blue sweep months ago. And I'm taking the same losses in my own portfolio -- I always eat my own cooking. We could see some rebound into the traditional Santa Claus rally, but I think it's prudent to take some chips off the table until tech policy clears.]
Republicans just got their seats handed to them in a blue tsunami.
Plunging the republic into a two-year clown show that - spoiler alert - will accomplish precisely nothing angry voters wanted.
But it will punish Republicans for failing to deliver what they’ve been promising since Nixon -- a smaller government, lower inflation, and an America-first foreign policy.
As of Wednesday morning, Democrats look set to win 40-plus House seats -- their biggest House majority since 1993. And they flipped 7 Senate seats, winning 11 of the 14 races that decided the chamber. Including Texas, Kansas, and South Carolina.
So it was ugly.
But before Democrats pop the bubbly, they might keep in mind this election wasn’t about backing the blue. In fact, just 29% of voters view the Democratic Party positively in NBC’s final poll -- worse than the GOP’s 38%.
It was about punishing Congress for failing to fix anything.
After two years of a Democrat Congress failing even harder -- with gender swaps for illegals thrown in for laughs -- voters will hate Democrats with the same ardor they display for the Grand Old Party.
Everybody Saw It Coming
Now, Republicans in Congress should have seen Tuesday coming. Prediction market Kalshi was flashing a blue wave way back in May -- traders already had Democrats at 76% to take the House, with the Iran war still smoldering and the SAVE Act to fix election fraud still in play.
Republicans, shockingly, ignored the warnings.
But the most fascinating number isn’t the Republican losses.
It’s the fact that fully 85% of voters told Gallup that both parties don’t deserve reelection -- a record. Toss the bums, tear out the plumbing, gut Congress no matter which party.
As in voters despise the uniparty whether it’s wearing red or blue.
Hilariously, it’s a long-standing rule of thumb in Washington that the president’s party loses the midterms -- 9 times out of 10 in the past century.
As in once voters actually taste what Washington’s cooking, they always hate it.
250 Years of Bait and Switch
This isn’t how it’s supposed to work in a democracy. In theory voters can choose what’s for dinner, and after 250 years there should be some decent meals on the menu.
In fact, after 250 years, every meal is garbage.
And the reason, of course, is neither party serves their voters. They serve the special interests that bankroll their campaigns, shower them with lobbying money, and reward them with cushy half-million-dollar jobs when they leave Congress.
The donors get to eat. The voters get the bill.
In short, on Tuesday Americans didn’t vote for Democrats. They voted against Washington. Like they’ve been doing for decades, with nothing to show for it.
What’s Next
Democrats will now spend two years investigating Trump and the cabinet, blocking nominees -- no more judges for Trump -- pushing trillion-dollar handouts that will get vetoed, and threatening shutdowns.
So gridlock and show trials.
Voters, of course, will get nothing: unaffordable housing, medical bankruptcy, crushing taxes, and groceries on layaway.
Because neither party wants to close the auction house. They just take turns running it.
Bottom line, eight in ten Americans may want to gut Washington.
But the other two bought Washington.
And they’ll switch horses without missing a beat.

What do you think about this:
1) If the House pass a budget that is higher than the previous one by the year's inflation and increases the debt, all members of Congress are unable to run for office again for 8 years.
2) Anyone who receives any welfare loses their right to vote temporarily.
Proposition 1 will hold politicians accountable and force them to use tax dollars more responsibly. In my understanding, a politician has two priorities: a) get into power; and b) stay in power.
Proposition 2 is not a punishment for those who need welfare; it is an incentive for politicians to pursue policies that help people grow out of welfare. If you want to create a lot of handouts, that is fine, but you will not have those votes to stay in power in the next election.
I know that the idea is harsh, but I think it is a good starting point.
You’re almost correct. Nobody voted. The election results are rigged again. We’re undergoing a color revolution orchestrated by deep state operative Norm Eisen.
A color revolution consists of artificial election results and a bribed media ecosystem colluding to convince the people they voted for a leftist government.
It must be stopped or we’ll have no future elections of any meaning.
Look up Norm Eisen and his Democracy Playbook 2025 (www brookings edu /articles/democracy-playbook-2025) which is for “Preventing Democratic Backsliding” (another term for color revolution). He and others, including Senator Slotkin (former CIA operative and Brennan protege). They are orchestrating a color revolution. It’s all smoke and mirrors to deceive the American people into thinking we’ve turned into a blue/democrat nation.
Look up Mike Benz; he knows about color revolutions.
How is it that in Texas, Gina Hinojosa has received the highest number of votes for governor that has ever been received over the past 3 election cycles? How is it that Abbott has consistently received over 4 million votes every time he has run, but suddenly loses to Hinojosa who magically pulls out over 5 million votes? Sound familiar?
Texas received new voter registration of over 3 million people since the last election and none were verified for citizenship.
Potential future senator Abdul Mohammed Syed received an overnight drop of thousands of votes around 1:30 in the morning of 11/4/26. Sound familiar? Same thing happened with Biden.
How is it statistically possible that EVERY COUNTY in the USA shifted blue??? That’s absurd!
How is it that Washington state passed conservative statutes with large margins in this election but voted for only blue politicians?
We're undergoing a color revolution orchestrated by the same people that have orchestrated color revolutions around the world.
